This is a fiberglass rod a built a couple of years ago. The blank is asian. I don't know the manufacturer. It can be described as a progressive rod. The reel seat is actually fiberglass tubing. I found a tube at a construction site (biodegradable plastic) and took it home an turned it on the lathe. The end cap is green rubber. The slide bands are silver-plated brass. The grip is a 14cm torpedo. The wrapping are transparent pearsalls silk with black trim wraps and the white agate guide is shining at the end of the guides. I am pleased with how this rod turned out. This is an example of the simple and clean design that I prefer.
